I see this as misogynistic terrorism. I've said this before that misogyny kills a woman every 6 seconds on this planet. Yet, the Republicans will not uphold one policy that supports women, children or families. WTF?? They want to drag us by the hair into the 19th century. I can't and won't discuss this with Bible thumpers any more. It's a waste of time.

It is pointless to try to reason with Christian’s Nationalists. We must defeat them completely this November. They still won’t go away, but they need a massive rejection at the ballot box.

You have a daughter. I cannot be pregnant either, but I love people who can be. I don’t want this for them. It’s inhumane and oppressive and infuriating.

I have a daughter, a daughter-in-love, nieces, friends, friends' daughters, and general empathy for all women. For humans. It's so much bigger than this issue; where does it end? We've become a nation of ostriches waiting to be preyed upon.

I hope more people start taking this seriously. The rulings in FL and AZ seem to have fired people up, but Americans are very easily distracted.

The problem is getting the f*****g men to care. I'm as exasperated with them as anyone.

I think one of the seminal problems with many Americans of any sex is getting them to care when they think something doesn’t impact them. I was talking with someone in my life a while back, and they literally said it didn’t matter who won the governorship in your state. If blue won, they could keep working from home. If red won, they’d have more money in their paycheck. So many Americans think about voting in these “What’s in it for me” terms. It is super-selfish and shortsighted.

It's the biggest drawback of democracy. People are s**t. (Which is different from them being a***oles. A***oles is when they seek out hurting other people. S**t is when they just don't care about them, they're completely indifferent.)

Andra 😊 needs to be published in QC or Playboy or George. NO way do men want unplanned pregnancies......while yes they can walk away, they will still be financially responsible. And do men want to work 3 jobs to make up for women's paycheck after she's forced out....no, they dont. Do men want sex only to procreate....no. Do men want 9 kids......no.

The bottom line for these policies is in the article above: They want to punish anything they deem "sexual immorality." Any sex that happens between people other than one man married to one woman is sexual immorality. In some of these circles, sex that is not undertaken between a married man and woman for the purpose of making a baby is sexual immorality. (Ie: Sex can NEVER be for pleasure, even for heterosexual married couples.) On Friday, I will show readers why they believe this intrusion into our beds and other sex locales is justified.

Typing the above sounds unhinged, even to me, and I grew up in that world. Still, I know they say this stuff all the time. I can't imagine a mainstream outlet running such an article.

This is why I keep harping about birth control. They took out the provisions against mailing birth control in 1971, I think. But this crowd believes ALL contraception is an abortifacient. If they can get the Supreme Court to rule in their favor on Comstock and mifepristone, they WILL use that ruling to go after hormonal birth control as an "abortifacient." These groups are all over the place saying very loudly that all birth control is evil and wrong. They are telling us exactly what they will do, and we should believe them.
