“Contempt of Court” by Elie Mystal.
He is so knowledgeable about the Supreme Court & the Constitution & he outlines several things the we need to do to dilute the power of the SCOTUS.
He points out the folly of calling for term limits because unfortunately, that would require a constitutional amendment & we all should know how extremely difficult that is. Of all the democracies in the world, ours has a constitution that is the most difficult to amend.
I really, really encourage everyone to listen to those 8 podcasts, you will learn so much.
If you can afford it, either in print or audiobook format (even better) is his book “Allow Me to Retort - A Black Guy’s Guide to the Constitution” is
excellent!!! You will learn so much about our constitution in his extremely entertaining language. He explains how Congress can reform the court & & reduce its power, even get some of those extremists off the “main” SCOTUS bench without ever having to do a constitutional amendment.
I just can’t recommend it highly enough.
If any of you are still on X, twitter, you should follow Elie Mystal. Sometimes when the court is hearing oral arguments, he posts point by point rebuttals or comments on what is being said.
Absolutely term limits on all judges - and while many state judges are elected - I think EVERY single judge in this country should be elected. That includes state supreme court, SCOTUS, Federal.......all of them.

Excellent info and strategy. I don’t like that I have to study and learn all the ways in which the god-bothering snakes are trying to ruin our lives and societies across the entire world but it seems super important to at least try to educate our fellow humans and do what we can to keep the evil ones from taking over. The talking points definitely are needed. Longer explanations are great too but I need quick points I can remember or go to easily. I like the link Deepak posted, good stuff!
It is the ad telling Texans to vote out the 3 TX Supreme Court justices who were involved in the total ban on abortion in that state & all of the other terrible extremist rulings.

We need term limits for federal judges. And our politicians for that matter. And a more democratic process for appointing federal judges.
